Grilling up a steak has never tasted so good! This balsamic and rosemary marinade packs in the flavor and blends together seamlessly. This is one of my go-to marinades when I’m cooking up red meat. The best part is—it’s simple!
What you need:
1 Pound of steak
¼ cup olive oil
¼ cup balsamic vinegar
3 teaspoons minced garlic
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
½ teaspoon rosemary
½ oregano
How to make the marinade:
- Add ¼ cup balsamic vinegar to a medium/large bowl and ¼ cup olive oil.
- Add 3 teaspoons minced garlic, 1 teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon pepper, ½ teaspoon rosemary and ½ oregano.
- Mix marinade.
- Add steak to marinade and keep in fridge for 2-3 hours.
Since I made this steak into kabobs, I diced it up before adding it to the marinade. After the steak soaked up the flavor and was ready to be cooked, I added the pieces to skewers with mushrooms and green peppers. This meal is sure to be on repeat as the summer grilling season approaches in my house. It is a simple way to add savory flavor to any meat.
